MULTIPLE-PERSONALITY DRESS
BUTTERICK 8290. It's easy to be chic on a shoestring when you can make one multiple-personality dress look like three! Wear
View A, simple and unadorned, as a background dress for your jewelry.
Button on the white plastron in View B, and you have a stunning dark
afternoon dress frosted with white. For View C, baste in the collar and
pocket flaps. Size 16, 3 ¾ yards 39 inch for dress only, with ½ yard 39
inch contrast View B, ½ yard View C. Sizes 12 to 20; 30 to 40. 50 cents.
SIMPLE-TO-MAKE DRESSES
COMPANION-BUTTERICK 8269. Only three pieces to this simple-to-make dress (see the pattern layout above.) But the yoke effect makes it look very smart and much more complicated! Size 16, 3 ⅜ yards 39 inch spun rayon. Sizes 12 to 20; 30 to 40. Beginners' Pattern, 35 Cents.
