BUTTERICK 8796. With the increasing approval given to slacks by fashionable women everywhere, you can wear the pants in the family. These have a band with suspenders attached (optional) and a fitted, classic tailored jacket. Size 16, 5 5/8 yds. 35 in. flannel. Sizes 12 to 20; 30 to 42. Price, 45 cents.

BUTTERICK 8798. If you're planning to travel South, take this dress and you'll be rushed off your feet. It has a long, tight basque with padded hips to emphasize a tiny waist. The bias fold around the top ties in a bow in front. Size 14, 4 7/8 yds. 39 in. taffeta. Jr. Miss sizes 12 to 20; 30 to 38. Price, 50 cents.

BUTTERICK 8795. Your wardrobe for the sunny south must include a lightweight topcoat. A classic boxy one like this is the kind you will want to wear for years. The big patch pockets are folded and buttoned in double effect. For size 16, 3 yds. 54 in. tweed. Designed for sizes 12 to 20; 30 to 48. Price, 50 cents.

BUTTERICK 8762. Do your travelling in a suit which, by matching the background of it's print blouse, uses companion fabrics effectively. The jacket has side seams, none underarm. The skirt has six gores. Size 16, 2 3/4 yds. 54 in.; blouse and jacket lining, 3 1/4 yds. 39 in. 12 to 20; 30 to 42. Price, 50 cts.

BUTTERICK 8785. Feminine, fashionable, and functional describes the play dress seen at the beach, tennis or badminton courts. This has a sash and buttons from neck to hem in back. It has separate matching shorts. Size 16, 3 3/4 yds. 36 in. pique; 1 yd. ribbon. For sizes 12 to 20; 30 to 40. Price, 45 cents.
