8210. Start with an A-line dress in exciting  houndstooth check with contrasting navy yoke. Put it under it's own short jacket , and you're into a great new shape. 12 to 18. 12 1/2 to 22 1/2 (left).

8194. The brightest of bright kelly greens is splashed over classic navy in this brigadier jacket of wool tweed over skimmer dress of wool flannel. Great contrast and Very Easy Very Vogue. 12 to 18. 14 1/2 to 20 1/2 (right).

2666. Fabiani bursts on the scene with a poppy red jacket and dress in wool gabardine. Totally body-conscious, they're cut and portioned for exquisite fit. 8 to 16 (left).

2670. Nina Ricci provides a simple shape for incredible sophistication in this pebble tweed suit. A fitted riding jacket over A-line skirt. 10 to 18 (right).
